Emma Henderson was born in Boligee, Alabama in 1935. She was the second born of seven children. Over the years, Emma grew to become a masterful cook and especially loved baking. She enjoyed baking pies, cakes and other sweet treats for her husband Joe, her daughter Veronica and her grandchildren. Emma is our grandmother, and Boligee Brown is named after her.
